Diwali 2018 Dates : When is Diwali in 2018 ?

Deepavali also known as Diwali or Festival of Lights is a five-day Hindu festival. It starts on Dhanteras, celebrated on the thirteenth lunar day of Krishna paksha (dark fortnight) of the Hindu calendar month Ashwin and ends on Bhaubeej, celebrated on second lunar day of Shukla paksha (bright fortnight) of the Hindu calendar month Kartik.

Diwali 2018 Dates

In the Gregorian calendar, Diwali falls between mid-October and mid-November.

Being a five day festival, many people go out for vacation during this time of the year and their friends and family members.
